While it didn’t start life too well, Fallout 76 now has millions of unique monthly players, and it is one of the most popular games in the world. If you’re just getting started in Fallout 76, this is the guide you need. Although, don’t forget that the game will be a lot easier if you buy atoms at this link: https://www.u7buy.com/fallout76/fallout76-atoms, and then read the rest of this page!
Build Your C.A.M.P. Close to Major Landmarks
Some people will make their Fallout 76 life easier by building their C.A.M.P. in a random place, but we don’t recommend it for these reasons:
- Being close to landmarks will make it easier for you to traverse the map. Some people may even have a couple of C.A.M.P.S (you get two locations, and can buy more with atoms) to increase their location spread.
- You’ll eventually want to build some vendors, and if you’re closer to well-traveled areas, there is a better chance of having passing trade. This means that you can make some caps.
Of course, you can ignore us. Feel free to if you want to build your C.A.M.P. in a unique place.
Follow the Overseer Quest Line
One of the ‘main’ early quests that you get in the game will have you following the path of the overseer. Essentially, you’ll be finding her audio logs, plus various stash boxes along the way. Follow it. You’ll unlock a ton of awesome, useful, stuff for your C.A.M.P. here. If you don’t follow the quest, then you’ll miss out on pieces like a water pump, crafting stations, etc.
Play Daily
Fallout 76, like most online games, encourages you to play daily. There’s a few reasons for this:
- Daily challenges (more on those soon)
- Free, useful, items in the atom store. This includes carry weight boosters, lunch boxes, etc.
- You can sell to the vendors. You have a cap on how much you can sell per day, so you’ll often need to hit that cap.
- You can trade your legendary items in for scrip. Again, there is a cap here, and if you want to unlock the best gear, you always need to be capping out your scrip.
Of course, playing daily also means that you can take part in more events, and this means you can enjoy far more gear, scrap, etc.
Complete the Challenges
Each day, there are daily challenges (and weekly challenges too). Complete them to progress through the season pass. You’ll unlock some awesome gear for your C.A.M.P. as well as some useful items that can benefit you in the game, including legendary scrip, loads of caps, and a whole lot more.
Specialize Early
The nature of Fallout 76 means that you need to specialize what weapons you wish to use at an early stage, as you’ll need to build your perks around them. We suggest looking up a decent perk guide to see which route you want to go down.
Remember – your life in the game will be a lot easier if you have caps. The easiest way to grab some caps is to buy Fallout 76 caps for sale on u7buy.com.
